Cities Centre Workshop

The Cities Centre Workshops engaged a broad group of local and visiting faculty, professionals and scholars with Daniels students in a two-stage experimental workshop focused on how to create a more ecologically-sound, socially uplifting, economically viable, and architecturally ambitious urban design agenda for the Greater Toronto Area, and beyond. As well, the workshop enabled a vertical, trans-disciplinary curricular innovation that models new modes of team-based practice for Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design students. Lastly, the Daniels Faculty is partnering with the City of Toronto, by way of its newly-formed Build Toronto enterprise, to envision better urban futures for some of its major land holdings.
