Panel Discussion on Layered Landscapes: constructing form and meaning from the sketches of Arthur Erickson

Please join us on Thursday, March 5 at 1:00pm in room 103 for an event looking at aspects of Arthur Erickson’s work and life. A series of short talks will be followed by a discussion focusing on the role of drawing in Erickson’s work and the development of the exhibition currently on view in the Eric Arthur Gallery (February 2 – April 2).
Speakers:
George Baird, Professor Emeritus at the Daniels Faculty and founding principal of Baird Sampson Neuert Architects
Linda Fraser, co-curator of the exhibition and Archivist and Chief Curator at the Canadian Architectural Archive.
Michael Prokopow, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at OCAD and cultural historian and curator.
Adele Weder, architectural writer and curator, who has written about Erickson’s work and its documentation in publications such as The Walrus and Canadian Architect.
