Aziza Chaouni participates in the Harvard African Development Conference

This past weekend, Assistant Professor Aziza Chaouni gave a presentation on her work in Moracco at the Harvard African Development Conference. Chaouni was joined by her partner Takako Tajima, co-founder of Bureau E.A.S.T. Their joint presentation was part of the panel Architectural Identity and Social Practices.
The theme for this year's conference was "Rethinking development in Africa." Keynote speakers included: Anne-Marie Gulde-Wolf, Deputy Director of IMF's Africa Department; and Tito Mboweni, Former Governor of the South African Reserve Bank.
