Listening and Speaking in Large Group Sessions

Participating in a conference setting or in a large class requires you to know what is being discussed and how to share your thoughts or ask a question on the topic. In this workshop, we will explore strategies to help you listen carefully for the most important points, overcome nervousness, get the floor to speak, and prevent others from interrupting you.

Instructor: Jennifer Shade Wilson
Place and Time:
  Friday Feb. 3rd,  1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, Galbraith Building, 35 St. George St. , Room 244

This free workshop is presented by the School of Graduate Studies' Office of English Language and Writing Support and requires no prior registration to attend. A complete list of all of our workshops and course offerings is always posted on its website.
