Nadia Amoroso
Nadia Amoroso has recently taught at the University of Arkansas, School of Architecture as a visiting professor and design critic. She was also the Garvan Chair Visiting Professor at the University of Arkansas in 2005. In 2007, Amoroso was the Lawrence Halprin Fellow at Cornell University, where she taught graduate and undergraduate students in landscape architecture. She also led the Urban Land Institute competition at the university during this time. She also taught at the University of Oklahoma for two years. Most recently, she is a principal of Orange + Blue Consulting, specializing in design, mapping and visual communications. Her research on mapping urban phenomena and design work are published in a number of journals and she often lectures at various universities and design institutions including Harvard University, The University of Toronto, Cornell University, The University of Waterloo, Anhalt University, and at Google Earth. She is currently associated with the 192021, being spearheaded by Richard Saul Wurman, which graphically communicates the complexities of urban information for 19 cities in the world with over 20 million in population for the 21st century.
