Shirley joined the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design in the summer of 2014 as Research Funding Coordinator. In this role, she coordinates the administration of a broad range of programs and projects related to research at the Daniels Faculty. Her responsibilties include acting as the key contact for queries relating to research, liaising with sponsoring agencies, coordinating and making recommendations on the implementation of various research initiatives and projects, and overseeing research processes.  She provides service and support to faculty members for grant submissions and the financial administration of their research funding.

Prior to joining FALD, Shirley worked at St. Michael’s Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital. With over 20 years of experience in research administration, Shirley has a great sense of research strategy and management to bring research success to the Faculty.

Shirley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology and Human Biology from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in Accounting from Ryerson University.
