BA Architectural Studies

During the academic year starting September 2011 and ending August 2012 the Architectural Studies program continues to be offered in the Faculty of Arts and Science.  Information for current students is available here.

Effective September 2012 the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design will admit students into the undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural Studies.

TO APPLY for entry in fall 2012:

NEW students applying for entry to the University of Toronto will apply to the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, and must complete the following:

1. The Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) application process effective fall of 2011, for entry in fall 2012. Please start at this page on the University of Toronto Admissions and Awards website:

2. The Profile - ONE IDEA  

Note: both steps are mandatory. Admission will be determined based on grades as well as The Profile.

The undergraduate program in Architectural Studies at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design provides a broad, design-based lens through which to study the arts and humanities, and a deep foundation in all the disciplines related to architecture, landscape architecture, and urbanism. The program offers a choice between two majors in architectural studies:

•  Architectural Design
•  History, Theory and Criticism
