GALDSU Peer Recognition Award Nominations
Nominations close Friday November 27, 2009.
The GALDSU Peer Recognition Award is offered at the end of each term. The award criteria will be the same as in previous years and will be awarded to 1 individual from each of the classes in all three programs.
This is a special student-driven award, which attempts to recognize an outstanding peer. The following can be used as possible criteria for what GALDSU is looking for:
A peer that_
-contributes positively to their program
- consistently helps and assists classmates
-promotes a positive studio environment for their colleagues
- takes risks and, therefore, may not have received high academic marks
- is highly respected by classmates
The winner from each class (4 Architecture, 3 Landscape, 2 Urban Design) will receive $100 cash.
In order to be fair, GALDSU has decided that in order for the award to be valid, there must be at least 25% participation from each class, meaning nomination forms from 25% of each class. If a class does not provide this participation the award will not be granted for that specific class and the monetary value will go back into the GADSU general operating budget.
You must be nominated by a member of your class/year.
Multiple nominations per class will be decided by an executive council vote.
