HOK Computer Lab room 305

This lab has six new workstation-class PC computers that are replaced each year. Typically, these computers have dual processors, advanced graphics cards, DVD burners and LCDs. These computers are suitable for 3D and 2D modeling, basic rendering and advanced graphics programs. See software for a detailed list of lab software.

HOK Computer Lab room 307

Room 307 has last year's 'new' PC computers - again, six workstation-class computers with DVD burners. These computers are still appropriate for 3D & 2D and advanced graphics. Rooms 305 and 307 make up the main demonstration labs for computer-based courses. These two rooms can be combined as a larger teaching lab by sliding the movable wall that separates the spaces. 4th floor Studio Computer Area

The computers in this area are third and fourth generation - but still useful for 2D CAD and basic 3D and graphic editing. The convenience and accessibility of these machines, we hope, balance the fact that they are less powerful. See software for a detailed list of lab software.
