We hope that you are staying healthy and safe.
We are looking forward to a safe return to campus. Please follow and stay updated by reviewing UTogether – Your Guide to Fall 2021 at UofT.
Community members coming to campus will need to show evidence that they’ve received a first dose of an approved vaccine by Sept. 13 – and full vaccination by Oct. 15 – by uploading proof of immunization to the UCheck health-screening tool.
Those who aren’t vaccinated will not be able to come to U of T’s three campuses – or any other premises owned or operated by the university.
There are limited exceptions for community members who apply for, and receive, an exemption based on medical or other grounds protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code. But they, along with those awaiting their second dose, must participate in a rapid screening program and provide proof of a negative test before coming to campus.
Course timetables have been updated with new adjustments that have been made.
Lecture classes with large enrolments have been shifted to online delivery for the fall while their accompanying Tutorials or Practicums remain in person. All other classes will be in-person.
If you are unable to attend your in-person classes by the first day of classes on Sept. 9th, please complete the Academic Exceptions Form. All forms will be reviewed. Eligible students and professors will be contacted to provide appropriate online support.
Exemptions that are granted will be for limited time frames based upon the reason for delay in being available for in-person classes.
Deadline to submit your Academic Exception Form is Tuesday, September 7th
We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
