Deconstructing Your Syllabi and Planning for Success

Fri, Sep 14/18 – 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Room 200, 1 Spadina Crescent

A course syllabus has several important functions - class policies for the learning community, statements of pedagogical intent from the instructor, and a study plan for the individual learner. In this interactive workshop facilitated by Learning Strategist Benjamin Pottruff, we will briefly review the importance of course policies and learning outcomes before focusing on how to analyze multiple syllabi to create a study plan to support your academic success throughout the term. This workshop is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, registration is not required.
