The Daniels Building, completed in 2017, is the Daniels Faculty's home base in Toronto. The building, designed by Nader Tehrani and Katherine Faulkner, principals of NADAAA (in collaboration with architect of record Adamson & Associates, landscape architects Public Work, and heritage architects ERA) has 30,000 square feet of studio space, an expansive main hall for lectures and public events, an 8,000-square-foot public design gallery, an on-site library, and a digital fabrication laboratory equipped with the latest in design technology.
Due to limited capacity, tours are reserved for students who have applied to Daniels for fall 2022 (max 2 guests). Tours for prospective students will resume in June and will be available for booking from June 1.
To safeguard the health of our guests, staff members, student tour guides, and the university community, we have implemented the following COVID-19 protocols. Please note that the University of Toronto vaccine and mask requirements may be different than the Province of Ontario's COVID-19 Protocols. U of T will maintain our COVID-19 masking policies until at least June 30.
- Visitors must be masked for the entire duration of the tour, as per University of Toronto Mask Requirements. Staff members and student tour guides will also be masked.
Join us for a tour of our facilities at One Spadina Crescent, home to the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design. Choose an available date from the calendar to register for a tour of the Daniels Faculty.
