09.09.25 - Announcing the Daniels Faculty's Fall 2025 Public Program

The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto is excited to present its Fall 2025 Public Program.

This semester’s program brings together leading voices in design, architecture, and allied disciplines whose work engages pressing questions of justice, place, and ecological resilience. Through lectures, discussions, and collaborative explorations, the Fall 2025 Public Program considers how the built environment can respond to the challenges of equity, housing, and the stories and histories that shape our shared environments.

Together, the invited speakers bring perspectives that expand the role of design in fostering community, inclusion, and creativity in a rapidly changing world.

The Daniels Faculty's Fall 2025 Public Program also includes a series of Visual Studies Public Lectures curated by Assistant Professor Gareth Long, Director of the Faculty's Visual Studies Programs, and ALD PhD Events organized by Professor Claire Zimmerman, Director of the Faculty's PhD Program in Architecture, Landscape, and Design.

All Public Program events are free and open to the public. Register in advance and consult the calendar for up-to-date details. Many events will be live-streamed and available on the Daniels Faculty’s YouTube channel
