Anthony Spick

Adjunct Professor

Anthony joined Blackwell Engineering, now Blackwell Bowick Partnership, in 2001.  He studied at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and the University of Waterloo where he earned his B.A.Sc. in Structural Engineering. Before joining Blackwell Engineering, Anthony worked as a structural designer at Westview Dredging in Vancouver, consulting to the Marine Construction industry; and then at ETALCO in Washington State, consulting to the international Heavy Lift and Transport industry. He has been responsible for the design of numerous projects including: Yonge-Dundas Square Retractable Theatre Structure, 294 Richmond Mixed Use Development, 4C’s Straw Bale Building in Haliburton, and the Niagara Credit Union near Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Anthony is a LEED accredited professional and a licensed Professional Engineer in the Provinces of Ontario and British Columbia. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Haliburton School of the Arts, and is a member of the CaGBC Subcommittee on Continuing Education.
