Katie Lyle

Katie Lyle is a visual artist based in Toronto. She received her BFA from Concordia University in 2005 and an MFA in 2009 at the University of Victoria. Recent exhibitions include The End of Vandalism, Erin Stump Projects, Toronto (solo); Guys and Boots, HPI Gallery, Toronto (solo project); Aligned with the curve of night, Model Project Space, Vancouver; What she is not, what she is, what she can be, Garden Gallery, Toronto and Spirit Gum, Nanaimo Art Gallery (all 2015); Gene Pool, Erin Stump Projects, Toronto (solo, 2014), and The Green Years, Deluge Contemporary, Victoria (2013). Upcoming projects include Forest City Gallery with Shelby Wright (2016), G Gallery with Bridget Moser (2016) and a publication project with SLOW EDITIONS (2016).

Lyle is the Curatorial Assistant at Mercer Union, a centre for contemporary art and from 2011 to 2013 worked at The Western Front Society in Vancouver. She has taught previously at The University of Victoria in the painting and drawing department.
