Jen coordinates external and internal program reviews, contributes to faculty governance, and teaches on the Masters of Landscape Architecture program.
She first joined the Green Roof Innovation Testing laboratory (GRITLab) at Daniels in 2013, where she studied the hydrology of green roofs for her PhD. Before joining the school full time in her current role, she was the lead trainer and curriculum developer for the Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program at Toronto Region Conservation Authority.
Her practice (RAIN) specializes in the review of projects for grading and drainage design, and the development of planning policy for sustainable urban drainage systems and green infrastructure. She chairs the advisory committee for Design of Living Infrastructure for Ecosystem Services (DesignLIFES), and sits on committees for the Great Lakes Commission and the City of Montreal.
