Our facilities and resources include 24-hour access to studios providing communal and individual work spaces. In addition, seminar rooms, the Shore + Moffat Library, a photography/audio-visual studio, and computing facilities are available during school hours to aid the students in their research. The Faculty also provides a construction workshop fully equipped with a wide range of materials, machinery, and hand tools. Laser cutting and prototyping laboratories allow students a different mode of representation in their modeling needs.
The Daniels Faculty presents student and exhibition work in the two galleries at 230 College Street: the Eric Arthur Gallery and the Larry Wayne Richards Project Gallery. To give students some space away from studio, there is the student-run Café 059, and a student lounge, newly renovated by the Graduate Architecture Landscape and Design Student Union (GALDSU). Providing information technology resources and appropriate facilities for students is integral to the Daniels Faculty’s teaching and research.
