Student Services

Office of the Registrar and Student Services

The Office of the Registrar and Student Services is made up of a team of individuals committed to facilitating students’ academic experience at the University and the Daniels Faculty. In addition to performing registrarial functions (the nuts and bolts of university registration), we are also the first stop for academic, financial, personal, and general advising, and are here to assist students experiencing any difficulties that might have an impact on academic work, such as illness, a family emergency, or financial problems.

Areas with which we provide assistance include, but are not limited to:

  • Academic and general advising and guidance
  • Student counselling and resource referral
  • Degree and program requirements
  • Course registration and enrolment
  • Fee payment or fee deferral
  • Financial counselling/grant applications
  • Petitions/appeals

Student experience is about more than the academic experience. The University and Daniels Faculty offers an array of leadership, mentorship, and discipline-specific opportunities designed to augment the academic experience and encourage co-curricular involvement.

Students are strongly encouraged to visit the Current Students – Undergraduate and Current Students – Graduate pages regularly for more information, up to date information, and application deadlines.

We encourage students to send any questions or requests directly to registrar@daniels.utoronto.ca. Please include your full name and student number. We will endeavour to respond to all messages within 48-72 business hours.

The Office of the Registrar and Student Services is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room DA100 of the Daniels Building.
