Ottawa’s Winterlude festival wrapped up on February 16 and with it the public art exhibition inspired by Canadian sports entitled Ready, Set…

Third year MArch student Dimitrios Karopoulos partnered with Ryerson student Adrian Bica on the installation “Colorful Motion,” which was selected as the winning entry in a Government of Canada competition that invited artists to “create participatory installations inspired by Canadian sports.” Displayed in Ottawa’s Confederation Park, the piece was well received by both locals and critics. It is the second built work that Bica and Karopoulos have realized in the last six months.
