Explanatory Sheet

An Explanatory Sheet with full details of all documentation is also required and must be submitted electronically through the Online Admissions Application as a single PDF file. This sheet will be the guide for the committee to look at your online portfolio.  This should include:

  • Title of works, media of original work; form of documentation; year of production of original work, dimensions and/or materials (if appropriate) of original work;
  • In the case of performance or site-specific installation, notes on the location or specific context for the creation and presentation of the work;
  • For curatorial projects please include the “Title of the Exhibition” in addition to the individual works you are showing.  Wide installation images of the overall exhibition are considered the best form of presentation, rather than images that focus on individual works.

The images listed on the Explanatory Sheet should follow the same order of the PDF submission for clear understanding. All video links should appear on the Explanatory Sheet. You may include links to private videos on Vimeo, but please include the password with the URL. Once your PDF is created, please double check your URL(s) to make sure they work and open to the correct video.
