Daniels Faculty Filmmaker-in-Residence

The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto is pleased to announce a Call for Applicants to its four-week Filmmaker-in-Residence initiative. This opportunity, funded by the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives Fund at the Faculty, is generously supported through private donor support.

The Filmmaker-in-Residence is an opportunity for an emerging or mid-career filmmaker or artist from the Greater Toronto Area to tell stories related to societal, political or environmental issues at the forefront of the Faculty’s disciplines and relevant to its community of students and faculty. Over the course of the in-person four-week residency, between October-November 2024, the Filmmaker-in-Residence will have the opportunity to share and lead discussions about their work with various members of the Daniels Faculty community, including undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff.

View the Call for Applicants for more information. Interested filmmakers and artists can submit required material via this Google Form by April 2, 2024.

Any questions can be addressed to Daniels.Filmmaker.Residence@gmail.com.
