I hope that you are keeping healthy and safe despite the challenging situation with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several of you have reached out to the administration to ask about dates for the MFC field camp and how it will be delivered. The dates have now been finalized.

FOR1585H – Urban Forest Conservation Field Camp | August 30 – Sept. 10

Given the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and current vaccination rates, as well as to ensure everyone’s safety, the MFC field camp will be delivered virtually at the end of the summer session. It will run from Monday Aug. 30 - Friday Sept. 10, 2021. The field trip will remain as a 2-week camp. We will make every effort to ensure that there is minimal disruption to your internships and other courses in the fall term. We will continue to monitor the situation and should there be any opportunities to safely meet in person, visit a field site etc, we will re-evaluate. Regardless of any in person opportunities, all students will be accommodated virtually.

For updated information re: COVID and Daniels please visit the website. We continue to actively plan for more in person learning activities in the Fall term. Students should prepare to be on campus for the fall. We will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate as more information becomes available and public health guidelines change.
