To our Daniels Graduating Undergraduate Students,

As the end of the Fall/Winter 2020-21 term approaches, we wanted to update you on what you can expect with virtual graduation this upcoming June 23rd, 2021.

Name Change Deadline

As a friendly reminder that your name as it appears on your ACORN account will be the name published on your diploma. The deadline to make any changes is April 22nd, 2021. Please follow the instructions listed on the website.

Graduation Eligibility

Students who requested graduation will be assessed for eligibility and successful completion of their required degree requirements at the end of this academic term once final grades are posted.

Preparing for Convocation

The Office of Convocation will be streaming the official June 23, 2021 convocation ceremony. Details on Daniels celebrations will be coming to you in the next few weeks. Please review the graduation checklist information on their website concerning your personal information and diploma release schedules.

Please ensure that your permanent address is updated on ACORN by June 1st, 2021, as this will be the address your diploma will be mailed out to.

Graduating Awards

Students graduating from the Daniels Faculty may be nominated for a graduating award, a list of which can be found on our Graduate Awards webpage.

The majority of our graduating awards do not require an application, though for those that do, our awards office will reach out directly by email with application instructions. Our awards committee will be adjudicating in May and recipients of graduating awards will be notified in late June.
