In the spirit of the Teetzel Lectureship Bruce Kuwabara has designed the series to demonstrate the power of architecture to shape culture, society, and the environment for a healthy and civil future. Within the three lectures that constitute “Architecture and Urbanism” Kuwabara will demonstrate that an understanding of the city must inform the making of architecture, and that every building implies a city.
