12:00pm – 3:00pm @ Room 140, HNES Building
What is the role of artists and designers in creating sustainable, productive, healthy and engaging learning spaces for the 21st century? Using the HNES Green Retrofit as a case study, this participatory visualization session will include engaging presentations and stimulating discussion around this topic, and address related questions including:
• What are the challenges to creative expression in public space on campus?
• How can we encourage the art and design community to become more proactive with regards to sustainability issues on campus and in the community-at-large?
• How can we initiate the process with a number of pilot projects related to the HNES Green Retrofit?
Students, faculty, staff and alumni from all disciplines are invited to participate. Refreshments will be served.
