LORI BROWN
Politicizing the Female Body: Examining the Space of Abortion Clinics
Lori Brown is Associate Professor of Architecture at Syracuse University, as well as a practicing architect. Her design, speculative work, and teaching seek to broaden the discourse and involvement of architecture in our world.
In 2008, Prof. Brown was awarded the American Institute of Architects Diversity Best Practice Honorable Mention, and a commendation for the Milka Bliznakov Prize for her travelling exhibition, feminist practices.
