Daniels graduate Vesna Jocic (MArch 09) and Daniels student Jennifer Davis (MArch IV) have been selected to present an Independent Project at this year's Scotiabank Nuit Blanche on October 2, 2010.

Happy Birthday to ___________! is an all-night birthday party that transforms personal ritual into public spectacle and explores, through repetition, the limits of shared experience and collective joy. From sunset to sunrise, 48 different people will celebrate their birthdays in the middle of Yonge Street, surrounded by friends and hundreds of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche participants as they blow out their candles and make a wish. Will the festivities become bitter as the night wears on, or will sweetness prevail?
