Mosquitoes in the Bedroom: Fry, Drew and the Ethics of Vital Change for a Decolonizing World

Ijlal Muzaffar is an Assistant Professor of Modern Architectural History at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). He holds a PhD from MIT and a Master of Architecture degree form Princeton. He is working on a book based on his dissertation that looks at how modern architects and planners played a critical role in shaping the discourse on Third World development and its associated structures of power. Two chapters of this book have recently appeared in edited volumes.
