Frank Kershaw: Minimalist gardens
-
230 College Street, Room 106
Minimalist gardens are making their mark in Toronto's changing residential market place. Often complementing contemporary, modernistic architecture, they present a clean, uncluttered look, which appeals to many modern lifestyles. This presentation will trace the roots of the minimalist movement, its adherents and its current imprint on residential landscapes large and small. Although a garden may be called minimalist, don't be fooled, these are complex, detailed compositions with the highest quality of materials and execution.
