In this lecture, Georgina Jackson will explore two recent exhibitions at Mercer Union, considering authorship, gathering and what is means to be together.

Georgina Jackson is Director of Exhibitions & Publications at Mercer Union, a centre for contemporary art in Toronto. She was previously Exhibitions Curator at Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane, a project Curator at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the inaugural curator in residence at the Mattress Factory Art Museum, Pittsburgh and has curated numerous exhibitions in Dublin, Pittsburgh, Moscow and Toronto. From 2008 until 2012 she was a research scholar at the Graduate School of Creative Arts & Media where in she completed a curatorial practice-based PhD.
