Film Screening / All welcome – No registration required

The work of Fernand Pouillon, dubbed the "most  wanted architect in France" after being imprisoned and mysteriously escaping in the 1960s, is not widely known today. Over 50 years he built more than 5 million square meters of housing, principally in France and French colonial Algeria, employing load-bearing stone construction.

The film is 52 minutes long, in French, with English subtitles. The screening will be followed by a conversation with the director, Jean-Marie Montangerand, Katie Filek (University of Toronto), Peter H. Christensen (University of Rochester) and Ed Dimendberg (University of California, Irvine).
