Confirmation of Enrolment

If you are a current undergraduate student at the Daniels Faculty and require written confirmation of your registration, you can acquire it through ACORN or by submitting a Letter Request Form.

ACORN Confirmation of Enrolment

Log into your ACORN account. Under the Enrolment Confirmation section, you will find an automatically generated Letter of Registration for the current academic session.

This method is free and immediate, and meets various requirements for applications, study permits, visa applications, banking, insurance and benefit plans. See FAQs and ACORN Help for support.
  

Daniels Faculty Letter Request Form

If the letter generated through ACORN is insufficient for your purposes, or you require custom information, you can submit a Letter Request Form and email it to registrar@daniels.utoronto.ca.  

A processing fee ($8.00) is associated with this letter payable through your Daniels Account under ORSS Services Confirmation of Enrolment tab, or you can pay in person by credit/debit card at the Office of the Registrar and Student Services during open hours. Please advise ORSS when your payment has been completed and a PDF copy of your letter will be sent by email. Depending on the volume of incoming requests, processing may take up to 5-10 business days. 

Note: The Office of the Registrar and Student Services cannot confirm your registration in a session that you have not yet registered in. Once you have enrolled in courses and paid the minimum registration fee, you will be considered registered and we can provide you with the appropriate confirmation.    

Graduation Letter Requests

Download and complete the Letter Request Form for the following letters:

Intent to Graduate Letter:

This letter states that you have requested to graduate at the next U of T Convocation and that upon successful completion of your current courses, you will be eligible to graduate.

To be eligible to receive this letter, please ensure that: 

  • You have requested graduation on ACORN. 
  • Your programs are confirmed as pending or complete on Degree Explorer.
  • Your degree requirements are showing as pending on Degree Explorer. This status does not need to be confirmed .  

Eligibility to Graduate Letter:

This letter states that you are eligible to graduate at the next Convocation and have completed your degree requirements. To be eligible to receive this letter, please ensure that: 

  • You have requested graduation on ACORN. 
  • Your programs are confirmed as complete on Degree Explorer. 
  • Your final cumulative grade point average (CGPA) appears on your academic record in ACORN.
  • Your degree requirements are showing as complete on Degree Explorer. This status does not need to be confirmed. 

 For students who complete their degree requirements: 

  • in the Fall term, eligibility to graduate letters can be produced as of late January 
  • in the Winter term, eligibility to graduate letters can be produced as of mid-May 
  • in the first term of the Summer session, eligibility letters can be produced as of late July 
  • in the second term of the Summer session, eligibility letters can be produced as of early September 

Degree Confirmation Letter:

This letter confirms that you have graduated and identifies your degree and the date it was conferred as well as the programs that you completed. This letter cannot be produced if you have a financial hold on your account.
