03.02.15 - Aziza Chaouni recieves ACSA Collaborative Practice Award and featured in L’Officiel magazine

Associate Professor Aziza Chaouni has received an Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture Collaborative Practice Award for the Shobak ecotourism master plan that she developed with Developing Ecological Tourism (DET), a collaborative research platform that investigates the challenges faced by ecotourism in the developing world.

Daniels Faculty students Nicolas Roland (MArch 2013), Mani Tabrizi (MArch 2013) and Keren Golan (MArch 2014) also worked with DET on the project, the goal of which was to develop a new ecotourism model and nature reserve for Jordan.

Chaouni was also profiled in L’Officiel magazine along with four other inspirational women from Morocco who are working in North America. The group was also featured on the front cover.
