10.03.15 - MILLIØNS publishes “New Massings for New Masses”

MILLIØNS — the Los Angeles-based design practice of Daniels Faculty Assistant Professor John May and Lecturer Zeina Koreitem (www.millionsofmovingparts.org) — has released a new book entitled “New Massings for New Masses.” The publication documents an exhibition of the same name that took place at MIT’s Keller Architecture Gallery in the Spring and Summer 2014.

The book includes essays “33 Aphorisms on Collectivity After Othography” by MILLIØNS, “Nonmodern Collectives” by Kiel Moe (Associate Professor, Harvard GSD), and “Profiling” by Andrew Atwood (Assistant Professor, Berkeley Architecture).

The following former and current Daniels graduate students assisted MILLIØNS in the production of the work: Elliott Sturtevant, Peter Osborne, Victoria Walker, Ehran Holm, Venessa Heddle, and Luke Duross

MILLIØNS would like to thank the Daniels Faculty and Dean Richard Sommer for their support.
