05.01.12 - Daniels studio class on Walk-Up Urbanism featured on the Spacing Toronto blog

The Daniels Faculty's studio class on Walk-Up Urbanism was featured in an article by Alex Bozikovic on the Spacing Toronto blog this week. Bozikovic interviewed architect and Daniels instructor Tim Love, who along with Associate Professor Robert Wright and Lecturer Ivan Saleff, wrapped up their studio last semester. Love is the head of the architecture/planning office Utile, based in Boston. He argues that more walk-ups would allow gradual and subtle intensification of Toronto's less dense neighbourhoods.

Some of the designs that the students generated in the studio class will soon be released in an online publication.
