Daniels alumni Ya'el Santopinto and Shannon Wiley, both of Gauge Design, as well as Captains of Industry's Amy Norris and Clinton Langevin, have installations in the upcoming exhibition RAPID RESPONSE: Architecture Prepares for Disaster, opening this Friday, June 21 at the Harbourfront Centre at 6pm. The opening reception will kickoff seven exciting new exhibitions in visual arts, craft & design, photography and architecture. RAPID RESPONSE will take place inside the main building along with another architecture exhibition, BE PREPARED: Architecture Responds to Disaster.

BE PREPARED will also feature several Daniels alumni, including Cleo Buster (BUSTERdesign), Kathleen Cayetano, Shabnam Hosseini and Hamish Rhodes (MacGuffin), Ingmar Mak, Carmine J. Rotundo as well as Jeff Powers and Byron White.

The opening reception for the exhibitions is Friday, June 21 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm at York Quay Centre, 235 Queens Quay West and is free and open to the public.
