I am pleased to announce that together with collaborator Takako Tajima, Professor Aziza Chaouni of the Daniels Faculty has been awarded the top global prize that is offered this year by the Holcim Foundation. The Gold Holcim Award, valued at US$300,000 has been awarded to Professor Chaouni and her collaborator for their project for river remediation and urban development in Fez, Morocco.
