Prof. Aziza Chaouni's office Bureau E.A.S.T. has won an award in the 2010 urbaninform Competition for
the Taragalte ecolodge. The project was supported by the Cook Foundation and collaboration of
Prof. Liat Margolis (Daniels), Danny Tseng (MArch 2010) and Kathryn Slotek (MArch
2010), Klaus and Marjut Dunker, SMIT, ButterflyWorks, Sahara Roots and
Zayla. The competition team includes Utako Tanabe (MArch 2013) and Martha Sparrow (MArch 2013). urbaninform calls for architecture and urban design projects that engage in and
cooperate with social entrepreneurship and green business.
