05.03.12 - Daniels research studio participates in design charette to define master plan for Shobak, Jordan
As part of the Designing Ecological Tourism 2012 research studio, Daniels students took part in a multi-disciplinary design charette to define an ecotourism masterplan for the Shobak protected area in Jordan.
The Daniels team included: Lisa Sato, Avis Yau, Gladys Cheung, Mani KazemTabrizi, Keren Golan, Crystal Waddell-Gardiner, Nicolas Roland, Brendan Whitsitt, Bashar Talib and Assistant Professor Aziza Chaouni.
The team presented its findings on Sunday, February 27th to The Royal Society for the Conservation of Natrure's president and staff. Afterwards, the group was kindly invited for dinner by Ambassador of Canada in Jordan Mark Gwozdecky.
