University of Toronto Faculty of Architecture Alumnus Bill Lett Sr. has been awarded the Ontario Association of Architects Landmark Award for the design of the Ryerson Athletics Facility. The 50,000-square-foot building is underground, underneath the open space of Kerr Hall's quadrangle, which has not only made cooling and heating it easier, but has also preserved green space on the downtown campus.
