On November 17, 2011, Associate Professor Georges Farhat will be presenting, at Versailles, the 6th annual edition of a one-day symposium dedicated to the transdisciplinarity of landscape: Le paysage à travers les disciplines.

This event was initiated by Georges Farhat, and has been co-organized by him since 2006 with three Master programs at the University of Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and both the schools of Landscape (ENSP) and Architecture (ENSA) of Versailles. The events aims to bring together a range of practitioners and scholars from art, design, planning, or policy-making to ecology, philosophy, geography, or anthropology. The symposium is meant to deploy the variety of ways through which the multifaceted notion and phenomenon of landscape differ and constantly evolve.
