29.11.10 - Daniels Students win first and third place in the Ideas Contest: Young Leaders for Future Cities

Daniels students have won first and third place in the Ideas Contest: Young Leaders for Future Cities. First place was awarded to Richard Lam, Ryan McClanaghan, and Ayesha Moghal for Re-Invisioning Constrained Lots; third place was awarded to  Michael Spatafora, Elaine Tong, and Alejandro Lopez Hernandez for F.U.E.L.

The other winning project PLUG was submitted by Cowling, Liu and Gao from Carleton University.

The winning teams were invited to take part in the awards ceremony on December 2, 2010 at the prestigious Goethe-Institut in Montreal. Director Pina Petricone represented the Daniels Faculty and congratulated our winning students. Jurors Isabelle Bradbury, Ferran Garrau, Anna Bendix, and Scott Demark noted the excellence of the submissions.
