Daniels Professor Mary Lou Lobsinger has been invited to speak at an international conference on Aldo Rossi’s book “The Architecture of the city” ("L'architettura della città") at Iuav University. This year marks the 45th anniversary of when his book was first published. The conference aims to promote discussion on some of the main topics addressed in the book, which was influential in focusing attention on the importance of architecture-based urban studies.
 
The conference takes place from October 26th to 28th in Venice.
 
On the October 29th,  Professor Lobsinger will join the 6th annual PhD seminar Urbanism & Urbanization, also taking place in Venice, to review excerpts from dissertation research being presented there. The topic of this year's seminar is "The Next Urban Question - Themes, Approaches, tools"
