"Mobility 2.0: The Extraordinary Motion of Architects, Materials and Objects”

The world is urbanizing at such an unprecedented speed and scale that the form of the city has become the single biggest experiment in human history. Many of our traditional concepts are completely inadequate in the face of this radical global experiment. Our most basic sense of the physical environment and what it means to move within it has to be rethought. This set of three lectures will look at the unique mobility of architects, materials, and objects for some clues as to where things are going.

February 6: "Utzon's Wings: The Mythology of the Global Architect"
February 7: "The Plastic Line"
February 8: "Experiments in Motion"
