28.04.11 - Faculty updates: Jane Wolff

Jane Wolff’s talk,“Stealth Ecology in New Orleans,” at the University of Washington’s symposium Next Eco-city: Emergent Urbansim, presented the work of students in LAN 2014 on the Gutter to Gulf teaching and research initiative. The symposium was held on April 7 and 8 in Seattle.


Jane Wolff has been re-appointed Visiting Artist at the Exploratorium, a museum of science, art, and perception in San Francisco, California. Her commission is to work with staff members on the development of content for the museum’s new San Francisco Bay Observatory.


In November 2010, Jane Wolff’s Delta Primer playing cards were featured at Open Water, a two-day exploration of water politics sponsored by the 18 Reasons Foundation in San Francisco. The cards were used to play a public game of high-stakes California water poker.
