20.12.12 - U of T News features a RAD Lab slideshow

U of T News has featured an online slide show of the Daniels Faculty's RAD Lab (short for Responsive Architecture at Daniels).

Photos include filtration blocks that act as miniature greenhouses, designed by graduate student Elaine Tong; the "computer brains" behind IM Blanky (a blanket that could monitor your movement while you sleep); and a suit that "contains skin sensors and nanoparticles that are automatically deployed when the wearer’s skin temperature changes."

Assistant Professors Carol Moukheiber and Christos Marcopoulos, who founded the RAD Lab with Associate Professor Rodolphe el- Khoury, are also featured in the photos. You can find the slideshow on U of T News' website here.
