Recodings brings together recent works by An Te Liu, in which familiar forms and objects undergo a physical and mental rearrangement. These conversions uncover latent associations and meanings, while exploring relations between function, abstraction, and the symbolic.
 
An Te Liu is a Toronto based artist who has exhibited internationally. His work is included in the permanent collections of The Art Gallery of Ontario, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and The Art Institute of Chicago.
