Ramtin Attar presented a research paper titled "Physics-based Generative Design" at the 2009 international CAAD Futures Conference at the Université de Montréal. The conference ran from June 19-22, 2009.

The CAAD Futures is an annual international conference that reflects on design methodology and discusses the latest innovations in CAD technology. CAAD Futures was set up under Dutch law in 1985 with the purpose of promoting, through international conferences and publications, the advancement of Computer Aided Architectural Design in the service of those concerned with the quality of the built environment.
