On May 3rd and 4th, Assistant Professor Mason White will present design-research from the Winter 2012 Research Studio "Power in Territories" at a conference at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design.

Titled "Landscapes of Energy: An exploration of physical landscapes of energy," the conference features an international range of speakers including: Sefryn Penrose (Oxford University); Kjerstin Uhre; John Palmesino and Ann-Sofi Rönnskog (Territorial Agency); Rania Ghosn (University of Michigan); Jamie Kruse and Elizabeth Ellsworth (smudgestudio); Mason White (University of Toronto); Luis Callejas (LCLA); Ingrid V. Brekkhus and Mats K. Johansen; Alessandra Ponte (University of Montreal); and Janike Kampevold Larsen and Peter Hemmersam (AHO).

Conference members will undertake funded field research in Iceland for an ongoing research project.
