Professor Rodolphe el-Khoury will participate in “The Future in Five Senses, Echoes of Italian Futurism in New York Architecture and Design” on November 16, 2009.

He will present recent interactive projects by KLF at New York University’s Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò in an event marking the 100th anniversary of the Futurist Manifesto. The work pays homage to the futurist fascination with the mechanized sensorium with electronically controlled scent dispensers featured in “Scent Garden,” a proposal for the 2009 Jardins de Métis Festival, and “Scentisizer,” an instrument designed in collaboration with Nashid Nabian (Arsh Design Studio) for the production of complex olfactory phenomena.
